Today we had stated on the book, Slaughterhouse Five, and we had talked about the bombing of Dresden. Over 60,000 people had died in a bombing that is not record in any of our global history books. Why would the government hide such a thing?
Were they afraid they didn’t have the real story. No, that isn’t what I think. I think the government wanted to hide such a terrible thing because they were ashamed of what they had done and what the US had made an example of this little German city.
